Depending on the scenario, it's important that links are formatted in particular ways for consistency. Below are the most common situations.

Inline Links

General Links

Inline links themselves must be descriptive to what they are linking to.

File Links

Singular File Links:

Similarly to the inline links, file links must be descriptive of what the file is. Omit the file type extension and append the file type afterwards. File size can be added with the file type, but is optional.

Multiple File Links (Horizontal):

In some cases, it is best for a small array of file links to be listed in a horizontal manner.

Multiple File Links (Vertical):

Other situations, especially if there is a longer list of links, a vertical list of file links is more preferable, to prevent a scenario where the horizontal links would start to wrap onto new lines.
